A gap between the man he was and the man his family needed him to be. That gap became his classroom, and eventually, his calling.
Growing up in Detroit, Steven saw firsthand what happens when people don't have the right support at the right time. He decided he wasn't going to be one more person who watched it happen.
Steven went on to earn a Master's in Social Justice, certifications in peer support and community health work, and years of frontline experience. Relentless Consulting Group is the result of all of it.
Steven J. Henry, MSJ, CPSS, CCHW, is the Founder, Principal Consultant, and CEO of Relentless Consulting Group, LLC. A dynamic speaker, transformational trainer, and dedicated social justice advocate, Steven brings over a decade of experience in public and behavioral health to his work. As a Certified Life Coach and Community Health Worker (CHW), he empowers individuals and communities to take charge of their well-being through engaging wellness education, coaching, and strategic outreach.
Steven holds a Master’s degree in Social Justice from Marygrove College in Detroit and a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Youth Studies from Central Michigan University. Since 2017, he has served as Workforce Development Coordinator for the Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance (MiCHWA), leading CHW training statewide. Formerly a Master Trainer with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, he has facilitated certification programs for Peer Support Specialists and Recovery Coaches. Credentialed as a Certified Peer Support Specialist in Michigan and Georgia, Steven guides people from all backgrounds through major life transitions, professional growth, and personal development. Known for his empathetic and clear approach, he believes that while the internal work can be challenging, it leads to powerful and fulfilling transformation.
